THE OPI4002 is a newly designed cordless scanner which reads 1D and 2D symbologies. Its wireless communication provides wider choices of installation possibilities to users, especially with the ability to communicate wirelessly at distances up to 30 metres from the base station dongle. The dongle is itself an HID USB device, so communication between it and the host PC is similar to a USB keyboard. Therefore, no additonal drivers are required and the transmitted data can be input directly into any open application that would ordinarily expect data from the keyboard.Smooth scanning of 1D symbologies and 2D symbologies is allowed by the adoption of a newly developed scan engine featuring a 1.3M pixel array.
