When I send something to the printer to print, nothing happens?
Ensure the cable is securely attached to both the printer and PC. Install the printer driver to the correct COM port (i.e., com1, com2, lpt, etc.) the printer is attached to.
There seems to be a vertical white line going straight down the label?
A dot on the printhead has failed. The printhead will need replacing.
The ribbon is creasing which is affecting the quality of the label print?
Make sure the Take Up spool and the Supply spool are aligned to each other. Clean the path of the ribbon of any dirt, adhesive build up, etc.. Ensure you are using a ribbon width as close to the media width as possible.
The printer is going INTO error or coming up with Paper Jam when sending something to print?
Within the Printer Driver, ensure the correct label measurements are set, including the Sensor Type and Print Method (Direct Thermal or Thermal Transfer). Also, CHECK the paper settings in the label design software.
The ribbon spool does not take up when printing?
The Printer Driver has the Print Method set to Direct Thermal or Ribbon Not in Use. Reset this setting to Thermal Transfer.
The media wanders horizontally when feeding/printing labels?
Ensure the Media Guides are tight against the media edge, eliminating any movement.
The print on the labels is very faint/dull?
Adjust the Print head temperature within the Printer Driver. Alternatively CHECK you are using the correct ribbon type against the media being used.
